We are seeking a strong candidate to support our Risk & Compliance Practice in operational and strategic issues.


Your responsibilities will include supporting internal projects (analyses, online questionnaires, etc.), assist updates of internal reports and benchmarks (conducting online research, maintaining databases, preparing internal newsletters, etc.) and handling administrative (filing, mail, etc.) as well as organizational tasks (organizing events and meetings, supporting marketing activities, etc.)


The Risk & Compliance Practice is one of BCG's functional practices. It aims to be the consultant of choice for leaders in the management of risk and compliance topics across industries. We seek to achieve that by helping clients find their way in this new landscape of increased regulatory scrutiny and high public expectations. By focusing on underlying customer needs and the fundamental elements of risk management, we help companies rethink their strategic approach and identify best-in-class solution. We also help them to exploit new opportunities and move quickly to get things done.

You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 – max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

Anforderungen

  • Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies (socio-economic sciences or similar)
  • Interest in Risk & Compliance topics
  • Some previous experience in the Risk & Compliance area as a working student or an intern
  • Creative, yet structured problem solver and autonomous self-starter
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Analytical skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
  • Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality
  • Highest ethical standards, able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
